March 31, 2020

Subsequent to the Emergency Stay-Home Executive Order promulgated by Governor Hogan 30 March 2020, Montgomery Orthopaedics will continue to serve the community.  We will remain a key provider of care for new or recent problems that you feel are important when other care may be inaccessible.  In addition, home telemedicine appointments are available for routine issues.  Our patient and staff health and well being remain the most pressing concern.  CDC guidance and precautions will be continuously implemented and adjusted as the COVID-19 crisis evolves.

Coronavirus Precautions

At Montgomery Orthopaedics, a division of the Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics, our highest priority is the health and safety of the community we serve. Due to the Corona virus pandemic, we have put in place precautionary CDC recommended guidelines for cleanliness and decreased person to person contact. We are continuing to provide exceptional, preferred in office care to meet all of your Orthopaedic clinical and physical therapy needs. For the immediate future we intend to offer in office visits 0800-1200 with afternoon closure for office cleansing.

Additionally, for select Orthopaedic issues not requiring hands on examination or administration of office based procedures or bracing we have implemented a modified appointment scheduling process to offer limited evaluations via telemedicine. These evaluations can also be arranged for patients sheltering in home due to Corona virus symptoms. Telemedicine appointments can also be arranged as an afternoon encounter 1300-1500. For any questions about your appointment, or to schedule an office or virtual visit please call 301-949-8100.
