Elizabeth Margolies, PT, MPT —
Beth has been playing soccer and other sports since she was four years old and injuries have unfortunately been a part of her participation. However, it wasn’t until her freshman year in college when she tore her ACL in her right knee, that she experienced rehab for the first time. With the recommendation of her dad, she started her journey on becoming a physical therapist.
Beth received her Master of Physical Therapy degree from Ohio University in 2001. Prior to this, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Maryland.
Beth enjoys working with patients of all ages. She has worked 10+ years in the skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting, in the out-patient orthopaedic setting for 6+ years and has also worked in the acute care setting. Beth is certified in instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) and CPR certified. Along with her continued education training and personal experiences, Beth addresses kinetic chain dysfunction while treating patients for their specific conditions.
Along with continuing to play soccer actively, Beth has her black belt in Tang Soo Do, karate. Beth enjoys traveling, indoor and outdoor activities and spending time with her family.
